My 1st Birthday Photos

Waazzzup people?? What's new? What's hot? My apology for haven't written or posting anything in my humble home for quite a decade because of the big adjustment I had to do in this strange foreign land called the Philippines.

Since mom has gotten her internet connection she deserves, might as well grab this opportunity to post my birthday photos tonight even if it's too late already. I am pretty sure that all my avid readers and visitors out there are still waiting on my birthday photos to be posted. So here they go folks!!

My First Word Is Att/s = Light

Yeppeeyyy! JUmping for joy! Cheers people! Finally mommy and daddy heard the first word I utter tonight although I have been practicing days ago but it is just so clearly spoken tonight. I amazed my parents again tonight. I can now speak a word before I could even turn one year!!!

MY FIRST WORD IS ATTtttt= LIGHT. It may not sound it but it is what I mean it, the light! Each time my mommy or daddy would ask me "where's the light?" I would turn my head and point at the light saying ATTTTttt... attttt.. and keep repeating it until I get tired of saying the same word.

Next to it is the MAP... dad taught me what light is and then mom showed to me the map of Texas. So my second word is APPP...app means MAP. I did two amazing things tonight. MAP AND LIGHT which for my parents is quite a success for me. Now they have a reason to celebrate and give me presents! Yeppeeyyy! Video of me speaking ATTT will follow...

My Very First Post Of The Year

So how you all doing? Big and small people hellloooooo? So this post tonight is going to be my very first post of the year 2009. Wow, I believe I have gone very far in my blogging now. I started blogging since Jesus planted me in mom's womb in the old and original blog I had at Bravejournal. Thank God I am surviving writing all my development here.

Anyways, I would like to tell you that I am so fortunate being born in this world for I cannot ask for better parents than my dad and mom. They are doing good in raising me. As I grow older, I became a lovable, good and happy baby that everybody loves. As we were about to face the New Year, ako pud gi sugat ug pagka tam-is tam-is nga pahiyom palihi sa bag-ong tuig! Proof are the photos!

Wow That Was Awesome!!!

We got home half an hour ago from our New Year's dinner at Flying Fish restaurant, both mom and dad's prefered restaurant. After the nice dinner, mom ordered daddy to drive us to Hillcrest, a rich neighborhood is found so I can see the most spectacular display of lights in rich people's yard

Before I was born, dad drove mom to that same neighborhood so she could see the lights. They made it a tradition to drive over there in two consecutive Christmasses already and now it's my mom's third Christmas and my first.

Watch the footage of me and my mom under the sparkling lights. You can hear my laughters so real, so geniune for I was overwhelmed of what I saw. I felt like I was in heaven for a while. Mom thought seeing me so happy like that was just PRICELESS and oh so PRECIOUS!

Bad Mommy, Making Fun Of Me

I forgive my mommy for feeling bored at home. It's not the same as her life before she got to America. She spent most of her time with me everyday in this lonely house. One day when she got realllly bored, she just grabbed her eye pencil and make fun of my face that turned me into little and cute kitty.

I am kind of amused of the result though because I look cute of my make up.

Me And My Choo Choo Toy

I got this big ride choo choo train that I don't ride often. It is just sitting in the computer room and I only play with it when I feel like playing. Most of the time I just love playing with the alphabet blocks that comes with it and put it in the whole on top of the train.

When daddy took this footage of me, I still couldn't drop the block to the hole properly for this was weeks ago. Now, I am able to do it perfectly that makes my parents both delighted when I do it. Watch me playing and dancing a bit in this video here and I welcome any comments you may have.

Brushing My Teeth

So this is what I am up to now. Brushing my teeth at 11 months is just as enjoyable as sucking milk in the crib. Each time mom give me a bathe, she will hand me my toothbrush with baby toothpaste in it. I remember the first time I used it, I was like a tail of a lizard that just separated from its body for I was like "nag iktin iktin maayo".

However, after the first time, I've learned to love the feel of the bristles in my gums and in my two teeth. When mommy hand me the brush during shower time, I would just gladly grab it and do my job cleaning my mouth. See, I'm just a good baby that is easy to deal with... all the time!

My Christmas Presents from Mom and Dad

When we went shopping for toys last week, I was with my mommy and daddy and I think I saw what they got for me for Christmas. However, I don't remember what it was, you know I only have short attention span when it comes to things so I've totally forgotten what they bought for me.

Mom was so anxious giving me the gifts on the 24th but daddy stopped her from doing that because he wants me to open it on the 25th. Yes and it came true. On Christmas day, after long hours of trip to where my granpa lives, I finally see and opened the gifts for me. It's my first Christmas ever so it is just right for them to give me something to remember this year. Look at the photos I share here and enjoy! HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!

My First Time On Santa's Lap

I never knew that Santa Claus is very popular during Yuletide season until one day, we'd fallen in line just to have a picture taken with him. It was ridiculous because we have waited in line for two and a half hours for just one picture of me on Santa's lap.

It was such a long day for all three of us yesterday at the mall. We arrived at a wrong time because it was between Santa's rest time and there we've waited too long until they open the session again. Well, anyways, mom thinks that I am worth the hassle for it only happens once a year plus it's my first Christmas this year. I don't think my dad was happy about the idea we took yesterday as it was so much work for him. He is supposed to be relaxed and resting at home on his day off but what mom got into him? Falling in a very loooooong line at the mall.

11 Months Old Me

So as I grow older, my parents, friends and people that surround me grow fonder and fonder of me everyday especially my parents. Why? Because I am more of a talkative little baby now wherever I go. My voice is just as loud and clear as a thunder even when we are at a grocery store. My mom will be in the other side of the building while dad is pushing me on the cart yet mommy still can hear myself talking, wandering, looking at different faces of people and kids that is pleasing to her ears.

Aside from that, I am becoming more prettier and looking mestisahin now. Everybody else noticing my pinkish cheeks and so does my skin, showing more of a mixed baby.

What amazed them the most is that I can perfectly understand what a word "NO" means. When they say that, I stop what I am about to do and listen to either mom or dad for I know if I insist it's gonna cause me harm.

Cheers for me folks! I am now 11 months old but still crawling. I swear mom and dad try their best to teach me and practice me how to walk but I am not prepared for it yet. Time will come though that they'll get tired chasing after me once I can fully take control of myself and walk outside the door and run off the street. So they better look forward to that.

Ok, I think I talk too much this time. Let me end this posting abruptly as I don't want to bore my readers out there! By the way, sharing you all a pic of me and my playmate that mom capture months ago.

Forgive the mess behind the first photos I have here. Dad took quick snaps of me without even tidying up the bed first because he's afraid I'm gonna move, change position and skip the cute pose I have. Good thing he did not hesitate to click the camera and voila! He got me in perfect position sitting on the bed playing that little Santo Nino thingy.... hmmppp suya si Cathy katong nanaway naku sauna kay guapa na kaayo ko karon bahala upaw ko!

Excursion of Mine

This is the latest activity that I love doing now. As soon as mom or dad put me on the bed, I raise my butt up, head down and begin to show them what I've learned. Typical 11 months old babies do the same just like what my mom saw on friendster photos of Cassy, Karen's baby.

She didn't know that time that I am capable of doing the same thing too. So yes, I am continuing of pleasing my parents so they can be proud of me. I am showing signs of being a smart girl, they said that and it makes me happy knowing that they appreciate their little one's progress. I am a good girl by nature you know? Raising me won't be too hard for them, that's what I promise especially to mommy. I try my best to be healthy, jolly, lovable, respectful and most of all staying pretty all the time so the world will love me.

10 Months Milestone Photos

I am getting close to turning 11 months old now. In 13 days it will be another wonderful 11th month of my life here on Earth but before that, let me share you this slideshow that mom made for me showing some of my developments in my 10th month stage.

As you can see I am now more advanced as shown in the photos than last month. I do like climbing on top of boxes now or on anything that I feel enhances my height, loves making a mess with books, newspapers and ads, smiles and giggles a lot, magtuwad mura sigbin though I don't have photos of me showing the sigbin side of me. Ah there more stories to tell but I don't feel like sharing it for today. You guys enjoy the slideshow and if you have some milk, give it to me and I'll gladly drink it all.

Call the Doctor, I Am Sick

Mother mother! I am sick. Call the doctor very quick! That's an old poem that mommy learned as soon as she started going to school in kindergarten. That relates to my current condition. For the past 3 days, I have not been feeling so well. Not the serious illness but it's bad enough to keep me down. I have colds and cough probably because of the weather change.

It's my first time to experience such nasty stuffy nose. No matter how mom tries helping me by giving me medicine but it seems not helpful at all. It's like a calvary for both of me and my mom during night time because when I suffer from clogged nose barking like a dog, she's there to make me feel comfortable and not getting her sleep as well. There are just 3 of us in the house because my dad has been away from home for 3 days and 2 nights now and he's gonna come home later today which I am very happy about to know.

I hope this soon will be over because I really hate it. God hear your little angel's prayer. Make me well very soon please.
